The views of the river were really something, but

The room left a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness. It was comfy and spacious, yet I noticed some cobwebs and dust in the corners. The location offered unique charm, but accessibility could improve for smoother check-ins.

As a European traveler, I found Rivers Rest Resort a unique spot by the serene river. The King Room with Pool View offered an comfy bed, perfect after long days exploring. Minor cleanliness issues caught my attention, but the location's tranquility and charm tempted me to stay longer.

Secluded location on the river provides a peaceful retreat, and the bed was comfortable. The shower's water pressure was excellent, delivering a refreshing experience. Dining at Cul's Courthouse Grill nearby offered a good twist, with their grilled cheese standing out. The door mechanism could use improvement, feeling a bit flimsy, and I noticed some noise from neighboring rooms at times. Parking was straightforward, but the inn could benefit from more visible staff presence.

Absolutely loved the serene views right on the river! The Queen Room had a fabulous pool view, and it was just perfect for winding down after a long day.

The doors could use a little more 'oomph'-I seemed like I was auditioning for a horror movie every time I closed it. And mind you, slipping off the towel was not on my agenda!

The room was quiet and super comfy, with strong water pressure in the shower that really impressed me. I liked the direct access via door code, made everything smooth. The bed was cozy, perfect after a long day. A bit of noise from neighbors, but nothing too crazy. A nice spot for a chill getaway.

Just a fitting option for a brief pit stop in Toano with excellent value for money. The river views provided a nice backdrop to help me unwind after traveling. Bring your own snacks as the kitchenette setup is a bit tight for dining.

Comfortable room, strong water pressure. Parking was simple. Staff was always around. Noisy at times.

The staff here is fantastic, and the location is peaceful and wonderful, so we're looking forward to returning.

Cozy room, super friendly staff. Loved being tucked away by the river and near the RV park. We didn't want to say goodbye and are definitely planning on returning! 😊
